cassina S.p.A. -- a sister brand of the larger poltrona frau group -- is an italian furniture manufacturing company founded in 1927. since its beginnings, cassina has worked with some of the most influential design and architecture masters such as le corbusier, pierre jeanneret and charlotte perriand. today, the brand continues to collaborate with leading international creatives, including: konstantin grcic, zaha hadid, jean-marie massaud, philippe starck, luca nichetto, jean nouvel and jaime hayon. in 2015, it appointed patricia urquiola as its art director.
